Who Is My Neighbor?

We all understand that anyone can be considered our neighbor; thus, think about the potential impact we can make worldwide on those who we consider to be our neighbors.

Take a moment to review these pertinent scriptures to remind us of our responsibilities to our neighbors.

  1. Love Worketh No Ill to His Neighbor – Romans 13:10 – Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

  2. Annoying Neighbor? – Proverbs 3:29 – Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.

  3. Execute the Judgment of Truth – Zechariah 8:16 – These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

  4. Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself – Matthew 19:19 – Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

  5. Let’s Feed the Hungry – Isaiah 58:6-14 – 6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
  • Just Do Good! – Galatians 6:10 – As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

  • They Did Me Wrong – I Must Respond! – Luke 6:31 – And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
